We talked it over and it sounds fine to us! It'll have to be a lot of water to make her turn into a mermaid, though. That is, she doesn't have to be fully submerged, a shower would be fine instead of a bath, but getting splashed by a glass of water won't quite do the trick. I'll trust your judgment on what works!
