To apply for a character, fill out the correct application down below and post it a comment on this entry. Please do not link applications in your journal or delete the comments once your application is processed. Let us know if you would like your application screened. Apps open on the first of every month and remain open for one week, during which time the mods will begin processing. We're optimistic and hope you'll get the result of your app within a day, but some may take longer depending on the familiarity of the mods with the canon, and the number of apps received in that cycle. If four or more days pass with no response then we suggest you contact a mod. You can reserve and apply for two characters per app cycle. Currently, players are allowed a maximum of three characters in-game at any given time. Applications will be judged primarily on the personality section of the character in question, and how the player intends to adapt them into their new role. For this part we're mostly interested in what you plan to do with their powers and new destiny, not how the character will react to it. We'll see that in-game! Since any OC applications must fall in the range of fairy tales that already exist in the world of Myth Making, these will be held to a higher expectation. Processing will result in applications being accepted or denied, or revisions requested. Don't worry if you're asked for revisions! It means we're interested in your app, but require more information about something. We'll let you know what that is. If you are asked for revisions, you'll be given one week to provide them. You are allowed to re-use sections of applications you wrote previously, so don't worry about rewriting your entire personality section. As a vampire princess and from a race that is naturally very mysterious and stand-offish, Yuuki is anything but. Where others of her kind are very aloof from the world, or power hungry, Yuuki wears her heart on her sleeve. With her what you see is what you get. She’s honest, up front, and hard-working, and it’s reflected in all of her actions.
Among her species, others are constantly taken aback by the fact that she’s so very open and approachable. Although she possesses the ability to make others defer to her, even against their will, it isn’t something she ever plans to do. In fact, others have challenged her on the issue and told her that if she wants their help all she has to do is force them. She completely refuses to go down such a path, however. The only way she wants help is by their own will, and earning their respect through her work and actions. Not because of what she is.
As a rule, because she is not human, and neither is she very much like her peers, she stands out as strange and unusual. She often jumps the gun and throws herself into situations where others would advise her to stop and think about the situation. Or does things that people would not expect someone from her position to do. Although she ranks above other vampires, and it is natural for them to defer to her, she often bows or treats them with equal respect-- something that definitely flusters the vampire world!
In addition she is very headstrong and a go-getter. Once she has her mind set on something, it doesn’t easily change. And she often recklessly throws herself into situations, regardless of whether or not it’s the appropriate thing to do, because it’s the only way she knows how to function. Even when her own weapon turned on her in the past, after re-discovering that she was actually a vampire, she refused to release it. Her strength of will overcame the weapon, ultimately, and accepts her now.
Yuuki very firmly stands by her beliefs. She has a strong sense of right and wrong and openly lobbies for peace and cooperation. Even though it is painful for her, she plans to stop and fight, if she must, her brother/fiance, before he can hurt any more innocent lives. Her willingness to stand up to someone who is obviously important to her, against all the odds not being in her favor, has begun to earn her more respect. Something that is hard come by between both vampires and hunters alike. As the ultimate proof of her being unable to stand on the sidelines and allow him to continue down this path, she later in canon comes up with the plan to die in order to turn him human. The spell would cost her life but render him memoryless and harmless, because she doesn’t believe she has the strength to stop him otherwise.
Beautiful, she can be serene and regal if the occasion calls for it, and was even trained in how to carry herself. But most of the time, she’s silly, cheerful, has an open appreciation for food (and sleep), and is very honest. If she’s unhappy, the individual will know it. Often she can become huffy or exasperated, and even childish at times. Likewise she’s playful, sweet, and expresses concern and interest in the people and things around her. She’s visibly earnest about everything she does, no matter the situation.
Although Yuuki abhors death and violence, she does believe in self defense and fighting if a person must. Although it has been stated by others in the past that she smells more of sunshine than blood, Yuuki has expressed that if she must, she will end the lives of those who would otherwise hurt others in order to ‘stop the sadness’.
Inwardly, Yuuki doesn’t like people to realize it, but she’s terrified of being alone. Because she is immortal, the idea of living forever while the rest of everyone else in her life dies is something she can barely think about or comprehend. And after her past few years of living locked away, and the differences between her and humans being instilled within her, the idea of her being compatible with others doesn’t feel realistic to her any longer. No one, except another pureblood, would be able to live for eternity with her. In the end, they’ll die and it will leave her alone.
Despite the fact that she keeps telling herself that certain things would never work out, she clearly has feelings for Zero Kiryuu within her canon, both a former human and hunter (as well as best friend, even if they had a falling out for a while). She would like to protect him, and hopes only for his happiness.

Pureblood Abilities:
- Turn someone into a vampire if bitten (Level D or E), Turn someone human at cost of her own life.
- Extreme emotions physically affect the environment by destroying or creating things (Shatter glass, destroy walls and buildings, send out sharp points of air, wilt plant life or make it bloom in excess, etc)
- Control the elements (water, air, earth, fire, blood, electricity, etc)
- Destroy things at the molecular level
- Erase memories
- Body and mind control of humans and vampires alike. Unconsciously can leak out in song or voice, too.
- Can create delusions and dreams for others (nightmare or pleasant)
- Put someone to sleep
- Can halt and correct mind interference. (If there is a curse, spell, amnesia, or blockage of any kind she can correct it, etc)
- When her blood is consumed it has miracle properties (Increased strength and abilities, healing of illness or disease, even injury, etc). It’s also completely tempting, like a drug to other vampires.
- Transmutation of objects, herself, or others. Can disintegrate into an animal of choice, butterflies for her (they suck blood), or grow appendages, such as butterfly wings from her blood. (Likewise she can fly due to the appendages)
- Create doppelgangers of herself
- Feel emotions through blood and see memories/important events.
Natural Abilities
- Superior senses (smell, sound, sight, etc.)
- Enhanced strength
- Extreme Speed
- Jump to great heights
- Regeneration and Immortality. (Wounds heal instantly and she’s unable to be killed unless fatally wounded by a specially forged anti-vampire weapon from the hunter’s association.)
- Proficient in wielding rod/staff like objects, and a scythe.
- Tempting and alluring by nature because it makes human prey easier to come by
Fairy Tale Role: Odette (Swan Lake)
Fairy Tale Powers or Abilities: Odette is under a spell that has turned her into a Swan by day. She can return to being a girl at night, as long as she returns to Swan Lake first, where she is forced to live. In order for the spell to be broken she has to make an everlasting vow with her love, which he must declare to her and remain faithful, otherwise she is forced to remain a swan for life.
Due to being a swan she might be able to communicate with other animals, too, if they don't already speak.

1.) A silver bracelet with a spell on it that allows her to tame the vampire connected to it,

3.) A resin rose given to her by her brother of a flower that blooms only once every ten years

There’s absolutely no way I can get used to something like this. I get it… the fact that I can only return to normal at night is a little ironic, but it’s not funny. People mentioned a man by the name of… Von Rosubaato. Ros...Rothbaat…?
. . . . I’m sorry. I’ve never heard of a name like it before so I am probably spelling it wrong. I only heard it verbally once or twice. If you know where this person is please direct me to him right away!
In addition…I would really appreciate it if people stopped throwing stale bread crumbs around like they think I might want to eat them. Especially after they’ve been on the ground.

I also had a question! Since Yuuki will be a swan during the day, is it possible for me to make an account of just swan icons to use separate from her real form?
